I forgot to mention I'm still on original ball joints, I take 2 trips a year to the N.C. Mountains from here in Florida, and i have my local shop look at them and the rest of the suspension once a year, they are still tight and as soon as they are not I'll change them out.

...remarkable car, really

--- Guitarman I'm a believer. Mine has been BULLETPROOF to me. I've been DAILY DRIVING It ANY condition since I bought it Feb 6 2012. I mean I gave it a few weeks of rest but other then that i've been in it everyday since. Has been efficient to me. In my own ways it'sbeen good. Yeah I've wasted money but so what. Luxury mixed with muscle and reliability that well comes with its prices. I'm willing to pay it! Currently planning on my next Lexus☺☺☺☺☺!!!!

235K on the odometer. 99 GS300. Still original motor, all new Lexus parts (90K service), replaced the leaky pulley today, armrest wrap done, new driver seat done, new solenoid c done, new vsv switch at the canister done, vsv under the hood done, new shocks front and back, new used nakamichi amp done, big drain and fill through the cooler lines done. This is still running great.

This car has been great. I can't justify getting rid of this car for a new one.

I wasn't as mechanically inclined before I joined the site. Since joining clublexus I've done all my work myself, I mean all. If there is something I don't understand I read, read, read read.

I'm HONESTLY looking for my next Lexus to buy in a few months. And I was thinking something newer. But not for nothing. I read ALLOT. And every time I get in the newer model threads all I read about is bad defects and allot of dealer setbacks. Recalls, bad service, etc. I notice most 2GS and 1IS are FOR THE MOST PART still joy riding without any bad concerns. I think I'll stick to older models. It's either between another GS430 01-05, a 1IS, or a LS430 01-05. THE ONLY newer model I'll get into is the last GS430 models. Being that it still got the same V8 my car does. So ima believer in that engine : - ) ☺☺☺☺

183,000 GS 400 - Daily Driver, well maintained, lots of parts replaced. Not replace non-critical failures.

Love this car.

No mods, 100% OEM stock

My baby has 49,889 miles as of today. Stinks because by the time I come home from partying in NYC at 6am I will be over 50K. She's a sexy 2004 GS !!
