Hi Guys,

This is to share a personal experience that is not over yet!
My car was stolen on a Wednesday morning on 18th March...

I reported the matter to the local police... they came by and wrote a report...
Just a brief about my car... I have a 2002 GS300 top of the range almost stock except for the Angel Eyes front headlights, HID fog lamps, all inside bulbs changed to white LEDs and one heavyduty SoundStream amplifier and subwoofer...


on Sunday, 22nd March, I get a call from the local CID that the car was found along with the culprit and that I had to wait for another 2 to 3 days till I can get my car... Waited the whole week but nothing happened (I still didnt see my car )

next sunday, I went to the CID Office... and inquired about the case. They said the case will be forwarded to the prosecution... and so it happened...

the case is still not closed but I have some how managed to get hands on my car on 2nd April...

and it was not as I expected to be damaged or so... on the contrary, the guy had installed a DVD Player with IPod input, GPS compitable, Builtin Bluetooth etc... and 2 screens on the rear headrests...
he also installed HID on the front Flasher lights

But thats not all, he had also installed 18 inch 3rd Generation GS wheels (like the ones in the pic in the page header) and lowered the car by 2 around 2 inches... (looks Wicked)

One bad thing that he has done is that he got rid of the soundstream amplifier and installed a Pioneer amp instead

Also, the Number plates are missing! so, I cant drive the car till I have new plates...



Rest all good... he also had installed 70% tint that I have to remove as it is against the law!

Great and unbelievable to hear but you do know you have to sell the parts or swap the car because he knows where it is and wants back his stuff he paid for to put on your stolen car. LOL

is it the same car? Do you have any special characteristics worth looking? Maybe a scratch, dent, screw, etc?

Yeah, couldn't have happened in the states, LOL. If it did, dude will definitely be back for his stuff.

thats a possibility... but I doubt he would come back... there is a small detail that I missed in my post... there was a sum of around 3000$ in the car when it was stolen!!! that must be the money that helped him do all those changes in just 5 days...

as per the law, yes... but I will give him a Disclaim letter... and he will be free to go... after giving an undertaking to the police that he will not repeat it...

this is ofcourse after his family approached us and were all tears and all that stuff..

haha thats funny he made like it was his car, when u get your car back can u post pics of the mods that the thief installed i would love to see the pics lol

Wow, that is an amazing story!

I think that if that would have happened here in the States, when and if you where lucky to find the car chances are it would be striped down!
