Need Help Overheating problem
Yesterday my car started to over heat while I was on the freeway so I pulled over and my fans where not working so I unplugged the relay to the fans and my fans worked fine after that cuz now there on constantly, I know my relay went out so I have to get a new one.
I thought that would fix my problem but my car still over heats , even though the fans are on automatically I don't know what could it be. Can you guys help.....................

It sounds obvious but did you check the coolant? You did not mention this so I must ask.
Other then that look for leaks. Have a pressure test performed. Check the condition of your oil for obvious signs of coolant contamination.

To check the thermostat is working, let the car warm up to normal operating temperature and check both the upper and lower radiator hose. They both should be warm to touch. If one is cold and one is hot, thermostat is stuck. From my point of view, you should do a coolant pressure test see if its leaking else where. Check radiator cap to see if it holds pressure. And if it happens to overheat mostly when sitting at a stop light or at idle for a long time, it's time to change the radiator. GL!
