Default window problem

my driver side window motor is out.
is there a place where they sell aftermarket window motor for a 2000 GS4?

if the fuse is out.. all the windows wont work right?

Does it make any sound at all? If not then it could also be a bad electrical connection somewhere.

no sound what so ever.. nothing.. just the sound of me pushing down the button

Pull out window switch make sure you have juice going out to window motor. Then you need to get inside the door and check to see you have juice going to the window motor. There is a computer inside each door. Hate to see buying a part you might not need.

IF it does end up being the regulator, auto parts warehouse dot com usually has decent prices on these.

The easiest and cheapest way.....
Take off the door panel, find the plug for the window motor and unplug it. Get a power source (your car battery, a booster pack), some wire (speaker wire, jumper cables, whatever) and get power directly to the window motor via the connector plug. Don't touch anything metal with your power source or let each wire touch unless you want to see a spark show. If it won't move, switch pos and neg around, If that don't work, your motor is shot.
It would be best if you had a booster pack and 2 steel rivits, just more professional.good luck
