Depends what you are looking for....

Best light output...4300k

If you want to stand out 6000k for a little less light output and a tint of blue...

both are better then halogen.

how much difference from 4300k and 6000k for the light output? which one last longer, as in will still stay bright in the future. In other words which one dims out quicker over time?

I like the whiter/blue-ish look better so I would vote for the 6000k. The 4300k is supposed to be brighter but the difference was not night and day. All the cars I drive have 6000k.

I had 4300k, than switched to 6000k but i was disappointed with the light out so i switched back to 4300k.

I would get the 4300K because of the output. 6000K also attracts too much unnecessary attention from police and ricers because it has a hint of purple.

Easy question man... I agree with Hass.

Since I happen to have just about every color temperature at my fingertips, I've tried them all and I will ALWAYS GO BACK TO 4300k. (i run www.mobilehid.com)

I don't really care much about the exterior coloring of the light, I just care about pure visibility. Some say "blue looks cool!" but I'd rather go with my 4300k HID fogs/lows and enjoy great visibility. The "coolness" for me is the fact that there are 4 HID lights up front shining down the road and I've found that other cars drive alongside when it's dark because they can see better with my lights.

That's why I say go for 5000k. You don't lose a lot of lumens (about 50-100) and you don't get that yellowish look as you do with 4300k.

I like the color 6000k gives out, but my vote goes to 4300k, I enjoy the light output down the road at night with addition to the 4300k fogs im running

the light output for me (i have 6000k in my low beams and yellow halogens in fog and high beam) is awesome. Compared to my dad's LS430 (factory HID) besides the fact that he has the factory HID bowls, i like my setup better, and the output really isn't that bad at all. If i had HID bowls or even projectors, the output would be nutso, and the yellow (whether you go HID or halogen for those) really compliments the 6000k not only in looks but in output as well.
