Want to buy wider rear wheels...a couple of questions, thanks!
I currently have 245/35/19 Toyo's all around on 19X8.5" wheels (+38 offset). The same make and model come also in 19X9.5" (again, +38 offset). I am looking to buy these new 19X9.5 wheels for the rear for two reasons:
1. More contact patch to the ground (traction)
2. To make it more flush with my rear fender (looks)
Right now my front wheels are almost aligned with the fenders; "slightly" inside by maybe a 1/4" or so. The rears are roughly 1" in the fenders and looks bad to me. Will these new wider rear wheels do the trick with these offsets? Also, I'm going to keep the front tire sizes but what would you guys recommend for the rears (as far as tire size) WITHOUT any rear fender modifications?
As a side note I am lowered on Bilstein PSS coils to about 1/2" gap (wheel to fender) all around.
Let me know if you guys need any other info to form a more precise opinion. Thanks!

i duno really maybe an upgraded camber kit to correct the butterflying or try to do it with the stock camber. and get spacers to try to achieve that flushness you want!!
im sure there is more info need but it doesnt hurt to go a little wider!!!

On a 9.5" rim you can do a 275 or 285 width tire. I have a 10" rim and I managed to fit a 305width tire on it lol. I had to cut/shave the lip off my rear fenders. I don't think you will have to do that. The offset on that set of wheels you're getting is not that aggressive.

Great! That's what I was thinking but I just wanted to make sure that 275's could fit back there without fender modding; I figured I'd ask the wheel gurus. Thanks! So I would buy 275/30/19 tires right?
Yeah, I was thinking of doing just spacers for just the look but I figured for about $500 more I could just buy new wider rear wheels and have the traction advantage...they are only $350/ea too.
If only I had $5K laying around I'd sell my setup and buy a nice set of staggered multipiece forged 19's but I will stick to my one piece alloys...most cost effective for me at this time.

I have my NF210's and Bilstiens sitting in my trunk... so I'm not officially lowered but with all the stuff in my trunk, subs, custom box, exhaust, other suspension stuff i haven't installed, and tools the rear end of my car sits pretty low... also not to mention when I have a car full of passengers there are times when there is no gap at all... its like driving a cruise ship right now with worn out shocks but I'll get around to it soon.
