Manaray --> Most Logical Install Order of Underbody Suspension Upgrades?
Hey guys,
I'm looking to eventually do all of the following upgrades to my suspension:
-Front LCB
-TRD Sway Bars
-Tom's 6-piece Suspension Kit
-Rear LCB
I don't really have a clear picture of what goes where on the bottom of the car, so I'm wondering what the MOST LOGICAL order of install these would be, ie. an install order so that one mechanic doesn't have to remove something that was previously installed just to get something new in, get it?
Hopefully this will save money on installations and wear and tear on the parts and the nuts and bolts that hold them to the frame of the car.
Basically, what suspension component is the most overlapped?

hi intellexel
i have gone through the things that u mentioned above. i would surely recomment you to get the TRD sways! the front sway will give you a much heavier sterring feel just like my friend's BMW 530i sport, while the rear sway will just flaten and tighten up the back end. i think it wont effect the ride quality at all, in my opinion =) it is a must buy for the handling upgrades! as for the logical procedures of the installation, i would..
get TRD front chasis brace.. which doesnt help much unless you get the Tom's froint brace.
if not enough then get the TRD sways, those things works great!
and TOM's rear 6 piece, those works great as well!
and then the TOM's rear lower brace!
thats the order i would recommend
take care

Thanks for the advice Andrew.
Your order of Front LCB --> TRD Sway Bars --> Tom's 6 piece --> Rear LCB may be the most logical order for someone unsure of how many suspension upgrades they actually need, but would that be the correct and easiest install order so that nothing has to removed to put something new on?
What I mean is, I don't want to have to find out that I have to remove my Front LCB (only during install) just to put the Sways on ( I have no idea if this is actually true or not...).
I am pretty sure I want to get ALL the parts eventually, so the install order is whats important to me.
Thanks for anyone who gives advice!

i actually dont think u have to overlap on anything MAYBE the toms 6pc u will have to remove the rear big lower chassis brace for hte rear sway.. if u are doing exhaust u need to take out lower chassis brace too. are you going to lower the car or change your shocks?

Sorry about the delayed reply, I just saw the post...
I would do it in this order...
1) TRD Sways
2) Front LCB (I'd get the TOM'S one though)
3) TOM'S 6-Piece Rear Link Kit
4) TOM'S Rear LCB
In reality, you can swap the order of 2, 3, and 4 in any which way. The Rear LCB and 6P RLK son't interfere with each other in terms of the installation.
I didn't watch my sways get put in but I just talked to my homie that installed it and he said to put the Sways in first.
That order is also the order I'd buy the parts in if I had to buy one at a time...
