Dings and Chips
Hi guys,
I don't know if you guys and gals notice but after I lower my car, I can find a lot more of dings and chips then before I lowered my car.
Most of the new chips I find are from the plastic moldings on the doors and on the side of the rear bumper. I guess it's from the tires kicking the rocks up because it's closer to the ground.
Does anyone knows of any protection?

There is a paint protection product I have read about on this board. I have not used the product yet so I am not sure how well it works but the post gave it good marks.

found this, I figure if it's good enough for NSX, it should be good enough for our lex, but I would like to see some pics, or results.
anyone knows this person? or know his work?

You may also want to check out his product. Looks pretty good. I've actually ordered a bottle and when I get some time I'll give it a go.

atlaf, where are you getting the xpel put on and what is the total amount they are charging you. I will be in DC next week and if the price is right, I may want to get mine done also.

I purchased the 3M product (Xpel, Invicta Shield, etc.) and had three parts/kits installed:
1. Lower front
2. Upper front w/back of side mirrors
3. Custom cut just in front of moon roof above windshield
A local shop installed it for me, and you can't even see it unless you really look closely. My car is dark blue. I do a lot of highway driving and feel that this really helps when those 40 mph rocks fly off the various construction trucks.
I tried Langka, but it just didn't look right. Maybe I need more expertise. However, I think the diligent and meticulous enthusiast can get the Langka to work as required.
