Default TM Engineering Review

Has anyone dealt with TM Engineering (web site http://tmengineering.net) located in So. Cal?

I am about to purchase some parts from them but I am a little skeptical since they are not prompt to response to the emails and when calling them, I only get to their VM which happens to be full.

TMengineering..LOL.

What kind of products are you looking to get? For Daizen products, you should contact Sewell Lexus. You have a better chance of having someone answer your call.

Yep, get it from Sewell. Whenever I go there they usually have the Daizen stuff in stock. Good thing they're local to me

Think about it.....they are not receptive to a potential customer ($$$), imagine if they have your money and you want to know where your product is. IMO, stay away.

I was actually looking for a rear camber adjustment kit for a 98 GS400. Daizen referred me to TM Engineering as they have a modified OEM arm that supposedly will fix it. I tried several shop to fix the Neg Cam on the car and all failed as adjustment is maxed. Car is lowered using L-Tune parts and is dropped about 1 1/2" - 1 3/4". I had this car for over 7 yrs and there is no damage to it.

Thanks R00kie for pushing me over the fence. I was leaning the same way but thought I give it another chance and solicit CL members who might have dealt with them.

No complaints about TM Engineering. I ordered a set of Daizen steering rack bushings and told them I needed them within 5 days. Item was shipped the same day. Not bad if you ask me.

Todd M. is a standup guy, very knowledgable about SC and suspensions in general....I've dealt with him numerous times throughout the years, no issues...In fact, all my suspension components on my car are from TMengineering.net....

He is a one man show over at his shop, a lot of times he is busy with mechanical section of the shop rather than doing internet orders...If he is there, sometimes you'll need to call numerous times to get to him...

Keep away from Todd..
He fubbar'd up the LCA's on my friends SC430 because he was known as teh only guy to be able to fix the butterfly camber issue..he took way too long to do it..and cut it way short.. (Darin at westend was barely able to do -.4 degrees) ( Factory is -1 * by the way. )
His fanboys on here will tell you he's a busy guy but he has no sense of buisiness ethics or practice at all..
He has 2 cars in the shop both of which are his..
Doesn't answer phone calls or when you knock on the door or wait there from morning to night banging away at the door for him to answer..

So buyer bewarned..
Sewell FTW!!! ..

Ahaha as far as getting ahold of him some of you are funny..
Search the forums if you don't believe me and ask local CA members
even if you go knock on the door he is "not there" even if he is there

You have a greater chance of winning about $5000 dollars on a scratcher than being able to contact Todd/ in person or over the phone(= to winning about $100,000 (odds) in a lotto.....

Amen. I even went to the shop and waited around for an hour or so with no sign of Todd anywhere. Phone calls? Never picks up.... Voice mail? Always full... Email? LOL! he shouldn't be doing any internet sales if he can't provide customer service. if he's a busy guy, there is NO reason for him to sale at all. If he doesn't want to hire someone else..fine...but dont expect people to be loyal and understanding if they're not going to get any communication.
