Searched a ton.. Anyone running true yellow high beams/daytime running lights?
I am tired of the dingy crap white daytime running lights and thought some true yellow lights may be good but concerned that when using the high beams at night they would not be very bright. Any comments or suggestions please. With my searching I have concluded that I will go with yellow piaa ion bulbs in the wedge lights and thought the drl's when be nice in a true yellow as well. Thanks in advance.

Yes. I did it on my 2nd Gen and now my 3rd Gen. I actually had my DRLs turned off so they only come on when I turn the headlights on. I do suggest that you use Piaa Ion Crystal.
This picture actually isn't mine but this is where I got my inspiration from:

Then disable the DRLs ... running your highbeams at 50% power only shortens their service life. Get the gold ions if you want for those "flash-to-pass" situations.
Put whatever color wedge bulbs in for your city lights which are only seen when your lowbeams are on. Personally, I would go with PolarG M4s if you are running stock HID bulbs.

i have them in my GS3's fogs and high beams with 6000k HID lows...best decision i ever made. Theyre just Nokya ones as stated before but damn they get the job done.
a very nice look and compliment to the 6000k hids
