I appreciate all the work people put into their cars and for doing things, even if it looks ugly to me. I know to them it is the best looking thing in the world. I just cant see ruining a perfectly good lexus like this. Sadly things like this are going to happen as the car continues to drop in value. We see it all over CL now

The main thing is that he cannot even enjoy his mod (system) to the fullest because he will go deaf...it could even kill him!
When others mod their cars for looks (show) they look good in it all day without any negative health effects.
When others mod their cars for speed (performance) they are at least able to utilize their mod on a track or any road for that matter (not recommended) without any negative health effects...well, except if you crash. lol
It is a "to each his own" concept but I cannot see myself EVER modding my car to the extent of beating others if it means destroying my car to do it...counterproductive IMHO.

frankie is a stereo installer, he build boxs, and that gs was built for stereo use only.. its not his daily, its not his fast car, it was a stereo only car.. for the one asking what his set up was it is a clamshell box, cut the rear deck and made the box go into the trunk.. its 6 fi btl 15s or and 12 clarion 1150amps, with 16-powermaster batts running 16volts. tuned to the low 30hrz and burping mid59s..that was also his old set up, he now changed the box to a wall and uses 6 18s

Wow I think this was amazing. We all enjoy our rides for different reasons. I guess Bass is the reason this person likes his ride. I have to Agree not for me but I can appreciate the amount of work that went into this car ^1

Honestly, I think it is about time competitors started dressing up and using nice cars for SPL Competition. Sure beats looking that those old bread box trucks and primer SUVs stuffed with woofers
I see this type of build no different than extreme VIP modding, or modding a car strictly for drag racing or track use. I'm in my mid 30s, so I'm a little too old to do this sort of thing myself, but I've also been around Car Audio for a while and remember when SPL Competitions just started out, when Drag dB just started out and what kind of cars competed in those events.

I second that. If you are going to compete bring the entire package. Not just the sound but also the nice ride.
I am sure his intention was not to break the roof. Maybe the glass etc but not the roof!

i didn't know haterade comes in frost.... yummm i need to pic that up. well i gotta give dude respect like a lot of people mention he put a lot of time and money into this hobby. it's like people who look down on guys in burnout compititons all u doing is jacking up ur rims, brakes, and tires but people still do it and it's cool to watch. hey man keep doing u, thats a sign of hard work when u crack not only the windshield but the roof as well. now all u need to do is to get the doors to pop off and u did ur thing!!!!
