Question Ok what do you think I should do....

Ok so I go thru cars like every few months and I currently have a 99 GS300 lowered on 20's.

Now I've always liked the G35 coupe 6MT and I might have a chance to do a trade for one.

But my thing is that the G35 has a rebuilt title and a VDC issue (which will be checked before any deal would happen)

G35 has 30K miles and is a 2003 6 speed that looks to be pretty stock except for a intake.

I know i'm in a Lexus forum but everybody here seems to be more mature and give a truthful answer.

So would you trade the car (knowing that I only keep cars anyway for a few months before trading again)

Please list reasons for why you would or would not do so.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Rebuilt title is enough for me to stay away from that particular deal.

If you have your heart set on trading your GS3 for a G35, then look for another one....
The price point (trade in value, however you're working this deal) of this may be attractive and allow for you to make the necessary repairs while still coming out ahead financially on this deal. Historically, though, since you move cars every few months, the salvage title and possible repair history will greatly influence a potential buyer's decision when you're ready to sell this vehicle, and chances are that you will walk away upside down on that deal big time, or be forced to keep the car (long after the novelty of its ownership wears off). It's a buyer's market with this present economy, so mitigate your risk by procuring a vehicle that will sell/trade easily when you're ready to do so.

I won't even start on how much the G35 sucks.

I'll leave it at this; when I parked my G35, I left the keys in the ignition hoping somone would steal it.

Yes, I had a 2004 G35 6spd, Brembo and Nav. It rattles like crazy and problems were never ending.

I'm not scared of rebuilt titles as long as you know why it was rebuilt, if its a theft or accident i can deal with that but if its flood than heck no.

I agree with Adrian....if you know the cars history...and why is has a rebuilt/salvaged title....and can live with it....then go for it. Some rebuilts/salvaged cars are due to theft of parts....and not really crashed or damaged.

this is what scares me the most, that I would have a hard time getting rid of it when I'm done with.

So it kinda leaves me at
