That's about average. It's more about the level of maintenance and how well it was cared for, more than the mileage.

My apologies in advance if this is a dumb question--but are you looking for specifically a GS300, or also a GS430? And presuming it's the former, why not also look for the latter? Is it because the 300s are better for mods?

It has the bullet proof 2JZ motor and its not a V-8. Just my preference.
