Default Any guides on removing the steering wheel?

Are there any guides on how to properly remove the airbag, steering wheel, and re-install it?

Or is it pretty straight forward.

I am pretty mechanically inclined.

don't do it because the air bag can blow up on you. take it to a person who has done it or know what they're doing.

thats funny i removed mine and reinstalled without it blowing up ..its been a while but from memory there was 2 or 3 small bolts that hold in the airbag on the side of the steering wheel then once that is removed there is 1 large nut holding the wheel in place once you get the bag off the rest is self explanitory

Disconnect the battery and let it sit for a few mins so the remaining energy could discharge.

Align the steering wheel straight.

Then tear into that badboy

the cover over the airbag??? DON'T do that!!! The airbag comes off in once piece as one unit. I believe you will see the screw covers on the sice of the bag assembly.

Your deffinately gonna need a puller . If you look on both sides of the steering wheel one side has a small knockout plate and the other side has one also about the size of credit card maybe a lil smaller behind them are torque screws when you loosen them the air bag should come off just disconnect the wire harness. make sure your battery is disconected
but your gonna need a steering wheel puller I bought one from autozone for about 8 dollars deffinately worth it.
