I got a roller from my friend last night. I was going to roll the front fenders last night, but my brakes took a little longer than expected.

Be very careful with a roller, it's easy to warp the outside fender. Since the clip holes create a different tension when the roller is on that spot.

i'd venture to stay away from the roller just because there are more chances to warp, chip, bend, and crack the fenders/paint. i did a very mild pull on my front fender. that is exactly as it sounds. heat up the fender a little bit and pull a little bit. i hope my writeup helps you with shaving. it is very easy. just be careful

Pulling is a bit more complicated. The fronts are easy.

The rears are not.

depending on your offsets, from what i've read, shaving is preferred.
rolling opens up a whole other can of worms that you might not wanna get into.

bringing this back up.

about that time i get my fenders rolled/shaved. whats actually preferred?

Ive been hearing roll front shave rears from various members on the forums, but shops that I have called are telling me I should shave all the way around?

Shaving the fronts will weaken the structure and since you will be turnin your wheels, it will rub against your fender and might cause some easy damages... Of course, depending on how low you are...this is just from what my friends told me when I was thinkin of shaving..

Yeah if you shave the front fenders it will be paper thin and when you turn into a driveway your tire might catch it and bend it like paper. On the back the wheels don't tilt left and right so it's okay to shave.
