Default Please Help! Car won't start, rapid clicking noises

Hi all, I'm in bit of a jam. I have a 99 gs300 that just recently had it's 90k tune up and timing belt replaced. 2 times in the last week, it sounded like my car struggled a bit to start, but would eventually start. Today, my car was struggling to start again and all of a sudden, all i hear is a rapid loud clicking noise. Now whenever I try turning the key, I just get the same rapid clicking noise and my car won't start. I tried searching, but can't really find answers. Please help. Thanks

probably cuz the battery died out or the starter, i accidently left my lights on for 30 mins and my battery died out. after an hour i went back to turn on the car and it worked again.

just give it some time, maybe a day . if it still doesnt work, then you can go get a new battery.

Default Problem Solved

Thank guys, definitely a battery issue. I just went to Kragen and bought a battery for about $90 and switched it out in about 15 minutes. The car starts up, good as new. Thanks everyone for the advice.

In that situation it's definitely not the starter. The clicking noise you hear is the starter trying to start the car but if the battery doesn't have enough juice then the car won't start.
