got the PIAA Xtreme White Bulbs
I know a few of you wanted to check out the new Xtreme White bulbs from PIAA, well I got them yesterday and compared them to my boys APC lights. They are not nearly as white as his lights, they are growing on me a little but I was looking for more of a white hue out of them they still have that yellow look. I'll try and post pics soon.

I used to be a die hard PIAA fan...and everyone would say that: "why spend $80" So I gave a cheap bulb a try...I bought three sets of hiper bulbs...they have a great color.....and then BAM! three months later ALL have blown up! Most cheap bulbs use 80/85 watts of power...thats why they are brighter! But your stock system is only rated at 55W. So you risk your headlights and fog light housing damaged, your wirring harness burned out and NO WARRENTY. So it's back to PIAA for me....I would recomend the same....

I too was attracted by the "color" of other bulbs so I went and bought a less expensive set. I did like the color, however, the PIAAs outperform the other bulbs by far. IMO a very noticable difference. Back to PIAA for ma as well!

As for the PIAA vs. the rest of the world discussion. I agree PIAA's are probably better quality than other brands out there, but I just can't justify paying $100 for light bulbs. For that much money, you can buy 2 or 3 sets of the cheaper ones. I've used the Nokya's before one of them went out after about 1 year and a few months. IMO, i got my money's worth. And the new ones i bought are suppose to be "improved" versions of the older one. Also, if you want to "match" the whiteness of your HIDs, then you will probably have to use a 80W+ bulb. I have used several 50/55 watt bulbs and no matter what the color temperature is, it will still look yellowish compared to the HIDs.
