Oops, it was a question I asked him in a PM. About how he trimmed the rear strut mount to clear a straight fitting for the airline. I was wondering if using an elbow fitting would clear it.

its deff a tighter set up than stock hardly no body roll. i guess you could say its more sporty. with air if your to high or to low it kinda rides ruff theres a happy meduim in there that almost rides like stock. i really ride perty low and its still real comfy.

Quick question for you guys with removed bump stops. Are there any negatives in removing the bump stops? Won't it be pretty harsh when the car bottoms out? Would it be better to cut it down shorter? Thanks guys.

im not on air (wish i was) but i cut the bump stops to 1 donut left and the upper control arm hits the inner upper fender well, before it hits the bump stop donut when i bottom out... (rarely) so i might as well take em out im on DF210's btw..

there really is no bottoming out. with the bag in there the only time i here any thing is when the front is to low. even then its not the strut and bag that bottoms its the upper controll arm hitting the top of the finder well. taking the stops out gave me another 1 inch drop the lowest part of the car is the front bumper and its about 2.5 inchs off the ground when full slamed.

I'm looking to put air on my 2002 gs430 and read the whole thread. I might buy the kit from bagriders (aerosport bags) with manual management (seems like the best price.) One thing that I saw on teir website is this http://bagriders.com/modlab/products...-BRACKETS.html

Brackets for the GS. I did not see it on any pictures in this thread. Did you needed these and I just did not see them or you installed them differently?

Designed to move the bag up on the strut along with allowing for the car to go lower by raising the top of the strut shaft up in relation to the strut tower.
This bracket kit is designed for OEM or OEM replacement struts.
Highly recommended if your looking for a low ride height.
Raises bag up on strut assembly to get more spindle clearance
