Hey guys, here is another question that it would help if I got a direct answer since there does not seem to be one in the forum: Is the Mark Levinson stereo version 2 ('02+) capable of playing MP3 cd's or not? I would just try this myself, but I hate going to dealers. I do know for a fact that the version 1 cannot play mp3's. I am also aware of the ipod integration kits available that I have seen on eBay (Item number: 120222650354). Thanks!

my '03 gs430 with ML/nav doesnt play mp3s through the changer. are you trying to base whether or not you buy an '02+ gs on whether it will/wont play mp3s through the factory deck? one of the forum sponsors http://www.vaistech.com makes a good ipod integration kit. i have one in the 430 and have no complaints.

no, none of the 01-05 gs with ML plays mp3 cd stock

not even 06 actually (3gs). it's only doable since 07

That's why lexus give you the cassette player, for the mp3/aux cassette adapter
