I was watching this program on the NatGeo channel called "Police Tech - Stolen Cars". It showed a piece where the Sacramento police dept. are using cars that have been rigged up which they called bait cars. They showed a couple of the cars which was a new Honda Civic, older Accord, a GS, and a few others. The white GS and the other cars were rigged with cameras, microphones, an engine cut-off and other gadgets. To my understanding, I don't think the GS can be easily stolen (if not using a flatbed tow) but it sure is eye catching so I think that could be the reason why they decided to use it as a bait car. Heck if I was one of these thieves, I would go for the GS bait. The show is new but I thought it was gonna be about protecting your car but it's more about law enforcement trying to get the upper hand on car theft.
