Default Stern Wheels

If you got Stern wheels, please post some pictures. I am really leaning towards these, and I will probably be picking up a set before the winters over. Also, please let me know what offset I should be looking for. Thanks,

Instead of buying those wheels brand new, you can find a nice used set of "better" wheels here on CL.

I am open to suggestions. I really like the look of the Sterns though.

Not sure who's cars these are. I hope they don't mind me posting pictures of their cars.

I've seen those wheels in person and they don't look all that bad. Please note though, that Stern is now made by ADR. If you do a search, they aren't wheels of the highest build quality (and based on a few friends' experiences and headaches).... especially if you're running 20" wheels. I used to have 20" EXEs, which at the time were the newly emerged "higher end" line of Axis. Axis is not all that.... but they make decent 1 piece cast wheels. I did a little research and found out that EXE wheels were made using T6-6061 alloy. That's the same grade that companies like HRE, Iforged, Autocouture, Trafficstar (etc.) use. The process is different though, cast vs. forged.

The choice is really yours though. I know a lot of us don't have quite as much as we'd like to spend on modifying our cars (I know I don't), but I'm just trying to look out for you. I think there are better 1 piece wheels or used forged wheels out there for the money, you just have to do a bit of research.

Personally.. I feel there is nothing wrong with them. I've had mine with no problems. I've hit some pretty big potholes too. There still holding up. no bends. Granted, their a pretty common wheel now considering how old this particular type is. All in all.. I think their a good look for the price. You could always save your dough and get something better.
