Yup - drink one less Starbucks and hit the gas on the GS instead with the savings.

i just took a trip to san antonio from austin, and averaged 22.5 mpg. i did a little bit of city driving getting into and out of the cities. i was hoping for about 24 for this 95% highway mix. i normally get about 18mpg with 75% city, in a 98GS400.

How can you have 3 and 4 in the same poll? 6 vs 8?

and for me i am gettin about 14 MPG in my GS300 in about 60% highway/40% local streets, dunno why my gas mileage sucks so bad, but im guessin it has something to do with the extra weight from rims/stereo/heavy foot.

It's amazing how good the gas mileage is on the highway. Perhaps the VVT engine helps there. My GS400 (before I turned it in on lease ) was getting 22-24 on the highway and around 17 and change in the city.
I miss it, and will most definitely signup for a 2005 GS once redesigned.

I get between 20 and 21 on my GS300 with 65%H/35%C and 26 HWY only with A/C on.
Don't know why I get such good mileage. Maybe because I live in flat Florida (highest elevation it's the city garbage dump pile!). I only use Mobil premium and punch it every now and then during the day.
On another subject, It's amazing how the car's main ECU "learns" your driving habits. If I reset the ECU by disconnect the battery for a while and drive like a granny for the first 100 miles or so my car will respond like a granny if I try to punch it but If I drive "spirited" after reseting the ECU.... what a difference they way it responds when I punch it. Anybody experienced this?

Stop counting the m/g
I don't know since when I start not to count the mile/gal... Just fill it up every Wednesday and Sat night. But the car eats up about 1 Galon for every 20 miles.... Can't tell! I never let it runs on E!!!!

Since I've gotten it, I've averaged about 21mpg....1/2 city, 1/2 freeway. Thats real MPG, not what the computer said, although it said 21.5 when my math told me 21 flat. My avg speed is also always very low, almost always at 30mph, even though I go 80+ on all the freeways.
