Hi Ted, since you posted the same question yesterday I merged it for you (please don't repost the same thing).

Our vendors sometimes have group buys on the Nav disks. Sewell Lexus also offers 10% off to our members.

You can also check ebay.

Edit - looks like 6.1 is the current version http://www.lexus-parts.com/partdetai...bCategoryID=73

put in code CL911M for our discount

I need the same thing. No exaggeration, about 75% of the time what I am looking for doesn't show up. The only way I can use it is if I know about where I'm going, and navigate using the touch screen on the map. (Total pain in the ****.)

Let us know if there is an active group buy and how much. I don't want to shell out hundreds of dollars, but would be nice to have it updated.

I want the 5.1 disc because the 6.1 version does not allow any type of input while the vehicle is in motion.

Did you try to use the 'over ride' procedures? I don't have the latest version, I have last years (don't remember the version), but that's how I input directions while hthe car is in motion. The procedures should be in the 'hidden features' sticky.

I've been reading online that on the 6.1 version they disabled that feature. The 2006 version, 5.1, i believe still has it. I could be wrong but I think thats what i read. Plus, im hoping that since its an older version that I can get it at a lower price.

here are some listings on the very bottom of the page
http://search.ebay.ca/search/search....e=search&fgtp=

pretty pricey, might as well get the 6.1 from Sewell
except i dont think 6.1 can be hacked for input while driving without ripping it and reburning it with an old file from 5.1 disc
and if u screw that part up while doing it, the burnt disc can corrupt the GPS system in the trunk which will end up costing $$$$....
