Has anyone put an 18x8.5 with a +25mm offset on their GS?

Question Has anyone put an 18x8.5 with a +25mm offset on their GS?

Would it work?

What size tire did you use?

i dont mind running a 225 if that will get it to work.

How about a 18x9.5 +28 in the rear? would that work out well? What tire size would be suggested for that?

I tried searching but couldn't find too much info on it

car is lowerd on S-Techs btw.

Dude at Wheels Next said told me that only a 35-50 offset would work on the GS.

Can't say if that's true or not, just what I was told by a "professional".

hmm, I have some 18x8 +35 fronts I can use also

I guess i'll just have to do some testing, I wanted to avoid mounting and dismounting 2 pairs of front wheels to test them out but i guess thats the only way to know for sure

FWIW, I only asked him in regards to the rear wheels...

Hopefully someone much more knowledgeable chimes in here.

You should be able to run the front size with a 235/40/18.

The rears you can fit 255/35/18.

even with the offsets/widths I mentioned?

I figured the rear would be ok, but i wasn't sure about the front with a 8.5 width and +25 offset

for the rear I know you can go more aggressive than that, the rear i'm pretty sure i can get to work, its the front I am more worried about.

Well you could always do a 225/45 or a 225/40 if you want to go really small.
