just fix my GS430 front passenger door with instructions from this thread. Everything works out great . Splitting the actuator casing is the hardest part.

Eyezs1ck,

The motors appear to be the same. Both sets carry the same part number - 22125. The only difference I see is the Mabuchis don't have the collar on them. That means you will have to take the collar(s) off the old motors and put them on the new ones. You'll need a gear puller, a vice or something to pry them off with.

Marco replaced all 4 of my door lock actuators and did a wonderful job! Now they are strong and quick. He traveled to my home (for a very reasonable fee) and was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He even answered unrelated questions about the car. And all for thousands less than the Lexus dealership quoted. For anyone in southern California, I highly recommend Marco!

Thanks to this thread, I was able to switch out the 4 non working mabuchi motors in my 01 GS3. Next step is to tackle my 98. Thanks you forum and all those who contributed.

Only the passenger door makes a LOUD noise when it locks? Where as every other actuators are silent?
