did you ever try out those slot car motors from ebay? Seems like a little more work for a huge $$$ savings. Especially for me with three out of four doors down at the moment.

The ebay listing list the SA family of motors which seem to be the same physical dimension but quite a bit less torque.

http://www.mabuchi-motor.co.jp/cgi-b...ch/e_model.cgi

That is the entire list for the FC-280 family.

I am currently waiting on a motor. I do not see any reason why they would not work. I ordered one from BGMicro along with some other items for a robot I am building. I will keep yall posted as to the fit. I will not be disassembling my door again just to try it. I do not see any reason why they would not work.

I also bought the ebay motors. I couldn't resist the possibility, and the fact that 18 bux got me 5 motors didn't hurt either. The only thing that worries me is the fact that my drivers rear door only triggers the interior lights half of the time, and the pass rear door will never trigger the interior lights. Obviously a new acutator motor isn't going to fix these issues.

Mabuchi wants to sell you 10,000 motors at a time. www.Surplustraders.net has a TS027 that is the exact motor that I think we have it has the stabs and he wants about $10 a peace for them, with shipping. These are the ones that I have ordered along with some parts for my robot. I quit updating this thread because I felt like I was loosing everyones interest.

Please keep it going. I am interested in what everyone finds out.

All of my actuators work, but they are very weak. My rear interior lights do not turn on when I unlock my doors. Is there no fix to this?

Someone else had a problem with the lights... I found it I hope it is not you or else you already know about this.

Thanks for the link, I haven't seen that one yet actually. So there is still no solution? Unless I read over it.
