Default Chilton/Haynes for GS400?

Does this book not exist? I looked on the internet and actual shops but no one seems to have them. I searched CL and it said that it doesn't exist but a CD-ROM version does? If so where can I get this (looked eBay).

I need to replace my lower ball joints and tie rods and I'm looking for diagrams/specs/etc before I start taking apart the suspension.

Go to https://techinfo.toyota.com/ and for $10 you can download the complete service manual if you have the time. Your account will only exist for a day so choose wisely when you activate it. I was told that Haynes was bought out by I think Chilton when I looked for one for my 430.

Helpful hint. Put the page number in the name of each file you download as many are cross referenced and after a few dozen downloads and 3 hours you will forget what you have and what you don't.

It wouldn't work for me but then I had problems with the site. You have to call up each section from a drop down menu, select your topic, then I opened it and downloaded. This may have been the long way. I did a search here at the club and someone else used a search for "the" once they got in and went from there. They also said that it took a long time. I felt it was worth the time as I could not find any manuals at the auto stores and when I asked at Pepboys what they use they said they torque by feel alot as Lexus doesn't give them much info either. I use a torque wrench on everything.

yeah, I'm pretty sure i can figure out how to take things apart, but I have no idea on torque specs. I found torque specs for a LS by searching but I'm sure its different...

and downloading one by one....maybe I'll just download the front suspension since I'm only doing a lower ball joint and tie-rod...then again, I feel like I got ripped off..
