As the OEM-amplifier is extremly wimpy...even when compared to "small" the integrated amps in todays headunits...you are definately better off bypassing the OEM amp, yes

This may be a really dumb question, but before i blow anything just wanted to make sure. The OP connected, Power, ACC, and Ground using the Metra 70-8113 2000-up Toyota / Lexus (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1207081...&tp=2977&avf=N) Harness - to the connector of the stock stereo.

I was under the impression that connector was connected to our amp. Does it not matter?

THanks!

Pictures were from 2007. He was probably using a hosting service and the subscription expired.

Boss, do an "AVIC" search on the photo gallery. I posted a pic for that wire.

(Instead of clipping the RCA cables off the Metra wire harness) You can't just plug in the Metra RCA cables to the Audio Front and Audio Rear on the AVIC d-3? Someone told me to do that but for some reason I still get no sound even doing this. Navigation, music, EVERYTHING works, just no sound.

Default Bring back the pics!!

Does anyone have the pics from this post? I am finally trying to swap out a navi to aftermarket navi, and the pics would be very helpful. Anyone else who has something to add, please PM me - I'm about to go in deep-
