I have 20% tinted all the way around (except windshield) - In Seattle... I still don't think its dark enough. Should of gotten my roommate's 15% tinting. Can't see? Get HIDS. No problem driving at night, never had a problem. Just drive sober....

Ah I would think he means because the sensor will think it is darker than it really is outside.

I have 35% on the sides and back and 50% on the windshield. I would never go back to not having the front windshield tinted.

If you want to Tint your windshiled without breaking the law - look into Formula One - UV Shield - its clear with a mild choice of 75 or 85 tint built in with 99.9 UV protection and about 20% heat rejection - not bad for clear tint..
