Retrofit Showoff!
#226
Here's "LA OTRA" coming out of the car wash.
AnzoUSA dual halo headlights 😜
I took out those convalescent H3 and H1 bulbs that came with it and modified the openings to fit LED bulbs.
The fogs are 6000K HID and are the OEM housings.
Czr =)

Absolutely!
Love what he did with his headlamp space.

If so, please post some night cutting shots of possible!
Have the same headlamps from my old gs300 in my garage I can play with.
Would love too try a custom LED retrofit!

How does the beam pattern compare to LS430 retro's? I know Anzo creates some good products, but I haven't actually seen anybody with GS specific lights.

Anyone know anything about those dual ls460 retros? They good or not?
Is there anyone that does retros or is selling their retros? (other than the M45 retros)

I'm no longer doing public retros at this time however the GS is one of the easier Lexus cars to retrofit and its one of the headlamps I'd recommend for a first timer.
For a beginner as in I've never done this kind of work before, its not bad, has simple layout and has a lot of space to work with (this is good!)
Can be done in a few nights after work about 1-2 hours/ night taking your time.
Best advice would be to buy:
1. spare headlamps,
2. HID projectors & ballasts (OEM HID ballasts are a good recommendation)
3. 4300K D2S bulbs (Phillips or Osram)
4. shrouds(if using a projector smaller than Q45),
5. a dremmel kit (about 30-50.00),
6. some screws/nuts and
7. JB weld
8. Rubber insulation
9. Spray Paint if you decide to paint the headlamp internal shrouds
10. Premade Wire Harness (can be found online) wouldn't recommend making one unless you're good with electrical components and wire diagrams
There's plenty of guides on here, hid planet and a few places.
Search some of my old retrofit threads for ideas

you must be talking about the LS600 NOT the LS460's. the output on them is crap but i dunno i have ever seen them modified with ACTUAL LS400's and not the replica's... people arent buying these for the output though, they are buying them for the look of them which IMHO i think is crappy. i havent seen anything beat the LS430's output yet and the M35 is also very good. The output on the LS460's is ALSO good just not as good as the LS430's
