thanks for the clearification chuck.
i called toyota and they said they don't carry dexron anylonger. they mentioned that they have toyota power steering fluid.
i getting a bit confused, should i just buy the toyota power steering fluid or just go to my local auto store for dexron II or III?

Would this tactic work for the brake fluid reservoir and help clean the fluid? I would think the lines keep mostly old fluid, but would it help at all?
I'm afraid to do a DIY bleed because I've read multiple different ways to tackle the problem (how many brake pumps, key in or out, etc.).
Back on topic: I'm going to get right on this when it gets a little warmer out. Thanks for the DIY ChuckB. But the bathroom sink, how could you?

A service guy at a Toyota down here where I go to pick up my Type-IV told me they had been using the Type-IV for PSF though he remembers when they were using the the Mobil 1 ATF little while back. However, Toyota has only been down here since about early 2002, so older vehicles might be different.
