My baby finally found her way home.......
After searching long and far, I found my GS and she is better looking in person than in the pictures. I ordered her from Denver and then had her shipped. I'm a little upset because DASAutoshippers put a dent the size of two quarters on the roof of the car near the rear window. But they are giong to send me some paperwork so that I can file a claim. I hope that goes through without a hitch. Anyways, I've been posting on here for a few months without a GS, envying all of you guys. Now I have my own and I can't really explain how happy I am with my purchase. It just warmed up hear in Maryland and the snow is melting. I'm going to take her out on the highway this weekend to let her breath. I'll post pics by this weekend.
I feel just like this little kid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isWoLyG5dpY
I can't wait to add to all of what she has already.

My GS 430......
Bigbea, the price for shipping was a lot cheaper than expected. But look what shipping it here got me, two quarter size dents on the roof of the car. I really hope they fix it and don't give me any bull about it being there prior to it being shipped.
tmf2004, the car has a few goodies on it already. L-tuned exhaust, L-tuned suspension, IS350 '18 rims, slotted and dimpled rotors and upgraded calipers. I'll be adding a tranny cooler before the summer and a few other goodies.
Thanks for the welcome people. I look forward to learn as much as I can from you all while I'm here at CL. Maintenance (sp?), modding, cleaning, everything......I promise to search before posting.

Congrats on the purchase, looking forward to seeing the pics. Shipping isn't too bad of a thing, I had mine shipped from Ohio to Alaska. No damage, but it sure arrived awfully dirty. It took 3 days on a truck and 5 days on the boat plus a couple of days sitting in Portland waiting to get loaded on the boat.

Bigbea, there are a couple of factors that come into play when shipping. You can get your vehicle insured for the trip which will cost a around $250. Having your car placed on the top of the truck rather than the bottom can cost up to $200. To have it shipped without any of this from Colorado is about $475. I think they placed my car on the bottom because of where the damage was on the vehicle.
GWELEX, they washed my car for after the trip. It went through several snow storms in the midwest and the NW portion of Pennsylavnia (7 day road trip). My car sat in Colorado for four days before it moved. The thing that killed me was that I was able to track the movement of the car, and watching it sit at one location for so long was like torture.

rizgs300, I'm in Baltimore. Where are you located in MD? Are there a lot of Lexus meets in the Maryland or DC area?
Joelseff, thanks...... Those dents aren't really noticeable, but I am very **** about my cars. So when I saw the dings, I grabbed the lady and let her know that I would be making a complaint, and that I expected the dings to be removed since they weren't there before the car was shipped. In all honesty, it's like a pimple on Alicia Keys or Sanaa Latham. They still look good (IMHO) as does my GS. Pics will be coming soon people. And thanks again for all the love.
