Hi, I am looking to purchase the following items for my 2001 Silver GS300

- 2001 LEXUS GS Chrome door handles Assy
- 2001 LEXUS GS Chrome Trunk Lid (Full Replacement)

We have a guy on here that sells the Chrome door handles on here (Zeroism) i think... The Grill, you can buy a stripper for and chrome the whole thing yourself, maybe 20-30 mins project You can save money there! The trunk bar, i got mine off of ebay from someone in HK, it was a toyota part too, also Zeroism has chrome door handles on ebay too

>>VBORDER,

I'm looking it one of those trunk lids and saw a seller on e-Bay (can't remember the name) having them. How was the install for it?
I opened my trunk and didn't feel like removing the inside cover for the trunk to find out cuz those little clips are a pain to remove.

i think they just sell a cover that you can throw over your existing trunk bar rather than messing around with taking that stock bar off.

Just like "ReLexin" stated they have those that is a cover with tape behind it. Mr.G4, get what's called a door panel remover tool runs about $10.00. Use that to remove those clips for the trunk cover. I would call Carson's they have the trunk bar, that is what everyone's is discussing right? Door handles, heck damn near everything. Ask for Luis he'll be able to help, as well as the other guys that work there. Can't think of the name right now.

yeah, should just be two bolts on the back of it. you will have to take the carpet liner off to get to it but after that, i just recommend using a magnetic socket if you have one. shouldn't be more than a 20 minute install. hardest parts is taking off and reinstalling the carpet.

Hey where can I pick up one of those door panel removers? Can I get at a local Pep Poys or Autozone?

MrG4,

I don't see why you couldn't, I bought mine at a NAPA autoparts store here in MD. If you can't find one, I'll pick one up for you......the store is right down the street about 2mins.

Cool. Thanks for the tip Joe. There are like 3 Pepboys and 2 Autozones within good driving distance by me. Hopefully at least one them have it so I can safe myself the aggravation when pulling those freakin clips out.
