Default GS300 Spark Plugs

hey guys, how do you cahnge the spark plugs on the GS300??

i know where the spark plugs are but i dont know how to get at them or how to change them i guess we have to take off the intake manifold or throttle body?? thats a lot of work jsut for SPARK PLUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1


please help!

yeah i think the dealer quotes 1.5hrs for labor on that.

holy crap

thats a bad design they shoudl have made the plugs more accessable

why? so we can do it ourselves? we would put all the lexus mechanics out on the street!! what's with you man?

Could be worse. You could have a 300ZX TT. Have you ever seen the engine compartment of that guy!

Whoa...1.5 hours would be a steal

Well Jaguar XKR's supercharged engine requires you to remove the supercharger in order to get to the spark plug. You should be happy that the GS only takes 1.5 hr.


btw I know that GS400 uses Denso Iridium plugs as standard equipment. Can anyone confirm what type of plug the GS300 uses?

Will cracking the manual open tell me what kind of plug it has? Or is that not accurate?

the GS300 uses a twin electrode plug, i dont know which one though.

really a jag requires you to take off the SUPERCHARGER??

after how many miles to you have to change the plugs?
