Hi i was wondering where you got your lower door molding from? i checked Carson toyota site but honestly... I got too lost and confused lol. Is there a part number you have? or where do i get it? sorry if you already have answered this question.

Great write up. You can also use electrical tape on the inside of your door. Just add superglue to both surfaces and done.
Keeps the moulding the same colour all around instead of one brand new and all the rest aged.

Kudos for the write-up!
Just replaced the two lower body-colored weatherstrippings on my left doors. Thank you for the write-up--the instructions were super-helpful!
After 108k miles and 13 years, there was so much dirt and silt accumulated between the bottom of the lower edge of the lower body cladding on the door and the weatherstripping that it was impossible to slide it off of the cladding towards the front of the car as originally described. Since the old weatherstripping was destined for the trash, I just peeled it off of the bottom groove on the bottom of the cladding--and got a nice small pile of dirt on the garage floor
I then took out some Windex and heavy duty paper towels and cleaned the bottom edge of the cladding free of all of the dirt/silt/mud that had dried on there. Once cleaned, the new weatherstripping slid right on--again, from the front of the car, as the tip suggested.
BTW I got the two replacement pieces from Sewell for a reasonable price, along with a few other regular wear items (gas struts, I think).
