01 GS430 Check Engine Light
Okay today I went to my local Lexus service center in VA which is Lindsay Of Alexandria. Because my cel just so happen to come on while I was driving so I took it upon myself to pop in their to have them to check it out. Well this is what they came with I need a Air Flow Meter at $349.00 and Neutral Safety Switch at $513.00. But when I left their I went to Autozone to let them pull the codes and here's what they came up with P0110 - P0100 - P0174 - P1780 -P0171 Now can somebody tell me what do all the codes mean and where should I start? Please any info is good info.

Did you happen to just fill up your gas tank prior to the CEL popping on? WIth all those codes it's more likely something really wrong though.
Just search the forums for the codes and you'll find them decoded
P0110 - intake air temp sensor circuit malfunction
P1780 PNP Switch Malfunction

i thought autozone device will give you the description of each code it detected. I recently had my CEL came up as well. P0161 - O2 Sensor Heater (or heated) Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2). That is the full description I got.
My approach is to have an independent local mechanic guy i know to see if he knows where the sensor is and the cost of having it replaced. I will also call the local dealership to compare the price.

sounds about right... seems to be very consistent...
air temp sensor is built into the AFM iirc... start with replacing the AFM and clearing codes... if it makes the P0100, PO110, PO171 and P0174 codes go away, then great.. but if any of the AFM codes come back, you either have a wiring issue, or vacuum leak, or something else... but from the sounds of it, multiple AFM codes usually is just the AFM...

P0171 and P0174 are both "bank too lean" codes for one side or the other. Makes sense that it would be the MAF since its before the cylinder banks. I wonder if having just a P0171 or just a P0174 guarantees thats its not something that serves both sides.. for example, the P0171 is just the bank where the PCV valve/hose is.
