I love 5% all around, but dont' have time to take care of fix ticket one every 6 months, so I went with 5% on back 3 window, and 20% on fronts, but, wish I have 5% in front, cause 20% is still light for me,

What do you guys think would be a good shade of tint on a WHITE GS? I'm going for the classy look and don't want to attract cops either. I want the same % all the way around.

I am thinking 75%, do you think that is too light?

then you'd need to go with light tint

the gs that i just bought has reflection tint very light.. like "Need For Speed" said here its a little greenish

if you'll be pulled over.. that would not be because of the tint

please post your state and whats the legal tint allowed in your state? this is just out of curiosity

on my ls400 i had 5% everywhere, my car is registred in PA and as far as i know there is *NO* tint allowed on front windows at all.. or maybe the back windows too, i'm not sure about back windows though..

Has anyone heard of or had experience with a brand of tint called CENTAUR???? I was given a gift certificate for X-Mas from a very good of mine to get the whole car tinted......Its "supposed" to be very good tint....Please post if you have any knowledge of its quality, etc... TIA, Tiny

What about the tint that fades from black to silver. I saw a ES3 in Philly with that on. He was like a movie star cause everybody was lookin.

I have seen a tint on a MB that was just awesome! it was black but it had the properties of the silver tint that is around....what I mean is that unless you are directly next to it, you cant see inside. very cool. I want to install this Tint to my truck! Anyone know what it is and who makes it? thanks.

TEXAS: 32~35% front , i heard the cops will let you get away with as low as 28%. anything goes for the rest. my lex has 5% on the back and 20% on the back sides.

I've got 35% 3M tint all around except the windshield. Was told by the tint place that the GS has 3% already embedded in the windows. It's plenty dark enough for me AND it's legal in NC as max tint is 35% here. I'm a fan of not getting hassled by the cops.

heres a pic of my tint. It is a titanium tint. 1(lightest)-5(limo). My fronts are a 2 and my rears are a 4.

Just asking but how do you think that a bronze tint would look on your car. I have 20% on mine but I have a gold car. Here's a pic below. I only reason why I asked is because of the color of your interior.

Definitely tint. I have the same color combo with 33% 3M smoke tint.. not too light, not too dark and it's legal in my state.

Hi yall,

i'm new to this site and thought you guys can help alittle!

I have a SILVER 98 GS300 that need tint...now i know the law in my state is 35% BUT...i need nice tint!!
NOW one question is on the new 2004 Nissan Altimas some have tint (i saw a silver one) but does anyone know that % of tint that comes with that car? it "SEEMS" pretty dark...but i'm not 2 sure!!

now can some one tell me a nice percentage to go with for my car?? (not toooooo dark, but i dont really want to be seen that well either)

Please any help will be usefull,,, i did read old post but i needed to create my own soo i can ask questions because most post were too old!!

P.s. i need to tint by the ebnd of this week.. so please help asap!!
