There are not many movies out there that have any Lexus' in them, but I found one last night. My friends and I rented this movies called Ghost Dog. Its about thi sblack dude that knocks off this mob family. When he goes to every murder scene, he steals a nice car (guess he's got to ride in luxury). Well, he has this awsome lil device that reades codes/signals, and it unlocks all the cars he steals, starts them, opens gates,etc. The very first car that he steals is a 98 GS400.:eek: I believe its a 98 b/c it has the same wheels my dads 99 GS3 has so....) Its black w/ gold emblems and tan int. Everytime he goes driving, he always puts a CD to listen to when drving to the scene. I could make out what type head unit this GS had but it was pretty neat. There is also a scene in the movie when he is sittin in a park and there is a group of black guys rappin and ones starts rappin about drivin in a LEXUS :eek: . I would recommend the movie not just b/c there is a LEXUS in it but it is a good movie.

I've seen Ghost Dog. My feelings about the movie was not as high as MyLexusSC300's. I think the protagonist was a bit confused about zen and grand theft auto. He based his life on loyalty and Bushido, but stealing a GS400 was out of the blue. By the way, how the hell do you drive a GS400 especially with the clever immobilizer in the ignition and ECU. For those who do not know about the system... take your key apart and take out the transponder chip. Now try driving the car. Unless, crooks can tow your car, don't worry about the GS being hot wired.

I saw both Ghost Dog and Belly. Belly rocks and Ghost Dog is a HERB-@$$ movie. I know there was a quick scene in Belly of Method Man's rims. I believe they are 20's, and I was wondering if anyone had a trained eye and see what kind of rims were those.


Also there was a nice scene in that TV show "3rd Watch", the cop show. It showed two officers dropping a **** into a minority neigioborhood and screaming out to gang members that this guy is a racist, and the cops left him there to get beat up. Anyways, one of the gang leaders was driving a black GS with 20" rims.

What? Hmmm I don't think its 17's because when he reversed it (when MM got shot), it looked like 20's. If thats how 17's looks like (in bigness) mine must look like 23's. . Also my friend upstate got the video and slowed it down to look at it. He said it kinda look like some AMG rims. (i hope not)


Tiny, the scene that you took a closer look was it the part that Method Man wanted to meet that curly black hair guy? The shot came from the side of the GS showing the rims for like 2 secs and MM was wearing a yellow jump suit waiting for the guy to come out of the haircut store?

V300....dont get me wrong. I do agree w/ u. I dont think it was the best movie and i was watching it at 1 AM, but i dont think u would be wasting ur time if u rented it, thats all.

Part I thought was way too funny in Ghost Dog was when that family pulls up to have their picnic and he rolls in the GS or a Benz (I forget) and he takes off their plates while they are like 5 feet away and swaps them out on his stolen ride.. It was like around 1am too when I was watching this movie too so I agree with SC3 when he says its not a bad movie for that hour at night..

When he stole the GS he stole some peoples clothes from their backs.. LOL

The scene Im referring to was when Meth has just been shot by the guy in the bar....Hes running and then jumps into the GS, they reverse quickly, and then do a big burn leaving the scene..(because the street is wet)
I would not be suprised at all if more than one Black GS w/out a spoiler was used in making that movie.(one could have had a larger chrome rim than the other)
I had to get that DVD, because before I ever purchased my GS I knew I wanted the car, but could not settle on a color(silver,white, or black) After I saw that movie, I knew I wanted black (the only color car that I have ever owned) and I knew I did not want the spoiler either...
