Im new to Lexus, but i just wasnted to know whats so special about the GS300 Sport Design? All i noticed were cosmetic differences such as painted emblems and rims? Are there any other qualities that make it better?

My 02 SD is Graphite Gray which is only offered on the SD's. Other than that not much, i have blackwood inside too. On the 03 models you get special "blacked out" headlights and a lip spoiler....

Shocks, springs, and steering ECU are different off the top of my head. Besides the normal stuff you can see.

off topic, sorry. not sure if this has been asked before. but instead of getting the overlay kits for the blackwood cant we just get the OEM peices? or are they outrageous in cost?

I'm not sure if these are OEM or not but you could call and see if these require removal of the exisiting trim for install.

IMHO these look like a replacement and not an overlay

What I like about it was the saddle leather, the blackwood (that I want ), and the other black leather with lighter color pipings around the seats

Looks like benzo listed the options.

Actually, I believe the suspensions were beefed up and came with the l-tuned ecu. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So I say. The part #s on the suspension parts are different. They do specify to order different parts for USA Special Edition. These parts only show in 02 & 03 300s. Which just happens to be the SD And if you have driven a GS vs SD GS you can feel a difference. Just to clearify.

My sis has a 02 SD and I have an 04. I swear they both drive the same..as far as suspension goes... Maybe the car is just heavy! haha

And I forgot that some SD (03 I believe) have the graphite wheels as well.
