Hey guys, I searched and searched and can't seem to find help on this.

My trunk switch wont open my trunk. I pull and pull and nothing. But when I try with my key, it opens. Any suggestions?

try putting the key(a master) in the keyhole where the switch(the thingy u pull) is to see if it is locked. if it is then u can only unlock the trunk with the key from the outside. if it does not work or if it is already unlocked, then the cable running all the way to the trunk might be loose or cut.

For future reference, that's a valet feature. Only the master key can unlock the gas, trunk switch and glove compartment.

It's well outlined in the user manual...which you should probably read.

I guess that's what guys like you with vast knowledge of these sort of things are for.

For the other guys that can't open it, let me know.I know how to bypass the key feature.I learned the hard way!

Thanks for the tip, it worked.

Just not sure how the valet feature turned on by itself though
