Default master key programming problems

If someone has theknowledge to help me out on this one I would be extremely greatful. I purchased a 01 GS430 last week which just had one key with it. I went to lexus and bought another remote master key, and programmed it myself using the directions from this website. (I have successfully done this before on my 98 GS4). The new master is progrtammed and will start the car, however the remote lock/unlock and trunk buttons don't operate at all! My other key that came with the vehicle works fine. Did I miss something or possibly have a bad key? By the way I already tried to swap batteries from the keys with no success. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Gino

Nevermind, I figured it out. I was using the power lock functions and not the manual lock on the drivers door. It's all good now
