Default new GS owner here

Hello All,

Just wanted to introduce myself here as being a new GS owner. I got a really nice deal since I work at a dealership here in Houston.

A little about the car.....it's a 2002 GS 300, silve/gray, Sport Design. The kicker is.....it only has 22,800 miles on it!!! I got a REALLY, REALLY great deal on the car as it was a fresh trade in. I still have my 1994 LS400. Getting that car ready to sell as I have no need for the LS.

I've lurked on this forum for about 3 years and never posted much, but I have gained LOTS of great info from you guys.

Just wanted to thank all the moderators for a great job that they do and all the folks on here for the great info provided.

Homer

I got the car for $20,500 + TT&L. It's certified.

I think that's below NADA value. Advantages of working in a dealership!

No mods planned as of yet. I'll keep it stock until the factory warranty runs out in 3 years, with the exception of maybe plugs and a K&N filter.

Not only did I get it cheap, all the maintance is done at the dealership by a buddy for free. OK, maybe I buy him a lunch here or there, but that's it!

I must say, I'm really lucky to be in the position that I'm in.

Homer

altough.....I am thinking of a lip spoiler for the car!

That's a great transition, isn't it?!?!?! I loved my LS, but man........this GS has the sportiness that I crave. I came from a 12sec Mustang into my LS. Now...I'm getting a bit of it back. Just the temptation to do MODS are great!!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome into the GS family! Off to lunch to show an LX.

PM sent. I don't want to disrupt the sponsors here.
