My old daily driver was a 2001 Lincoln LS V8. It had 120k on it when I sold it and didn't have mechanical problems until around 90k or so. There were features on it I still miss that my GS doesn't have but I like the GS better because of it's reliability. I didn't want another V8 because of gas mileage (I'm an outside rep for a mortgage lender).
Other cars I've owned (or currently own) that I DIDN'T sell for the GS were...
95 300ZX TT: Show car clean, tastefully modded, 386 rear wheel HP.
94 Mazda RX7: Sold it with 21k miles, tastefully modded, mostly stock motor.
95 Toyota Supra turbo: AWESOME car, made 412 rear wheel HP barely modded. Insane resale value.
93 Acura NSX: Mostly stock motor, suspension mods...mid-engine exotic. Everyday, I can't decide between this and the Supra.

these were some of my previous cars that i owned, but i actually totalled my 98 gsr 4dr back in 2003 which gave me a down for the 02gs430.
do you see what i see?
engine prior to turbo, jdm h22 with all the bolts on
1st day out of the shop
i loved it when the sun hits it
new indigo blue mercedes color w/ custom kit i made(front /side) first few w/ c5 3piece RH in 98
it was brown and tan interior prior
here's back in jan 99 hot import took 3rd place
now i have this as a beater/commuter
