just ordered my 19 inch alstadt japanese chrome wheels. (19x10 an19x8.5). what kind of tires should i get? i want to run 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. i would like michelins however, i have heard they don't make a 245/35/19. is this true. i went to their website and saw that they do make it but in a Y rating? not Z. is it OK to run a Y and Z rated tire.
thanks

I believe both Toyo and Nitto manufacture tires with those specs. Either one will offer comparable peformance to the Michelin for far less $$$...Tiny

Bridgestone s03 is the best tire money can buy. Yokohama avs sport is also good, but tread wear is terrible. Nitto NT555 is a good ultra high performance tire, with minimal tread wear and reasonable price.

If you don't mind me asking, which Altstadts are you getting, from where, and how much?? If you aren't comfortable telling the whole wide world, please PM me. Thanks.
