Default bishop, take a look at this

The chasis brace that I am ordering is supposed to look like this. It seems that your's does not have the front cross member peice, did you remove it? or did your's come without one. Is your rear brace for a >98GS or does it make a difference.

HI98GS,

About the TOMS rear chassis brace, there are 2 that are available.

The closed end brace should be used with a TOMS exhaust. The open-end brace, the one I have installed, is usually used with all other aftermarket exhaust systems. This is due to the different specifications used by manufacturers. You may or may not run into problems. I'm not sure.

Here's my experience with it.
Before the TOMS exhaust, I had a POS Sheepdog exhaust and couldn't get the closed-end brace to fit. So I had the other one ordered and installed. It fit with no problems.........but.........the flanges where the "Y" pipe and the cannisters connect on my POS exhaust was hitting one of the control arms, which made a "clunk-clunk" sound going over bumps and rough roads.

With the TOMS exhaust, the connecting flange is located further back near the bends, before the cannisters.

So......I had the entire exhaust system replaced with the TOMS exhaust and have had no problems since. It was a great excuse to tell the wife why I had to get the TOMS exhaust too.

Hope you don't have the same problems.

It doesn't look like Skipper at all.

KAZZ makes bodykits?

Seems to be the car of the general manager or something from Jim Falk Lexus. Maybe someone would like to give them a call and ask the owner of the car.

Richie,

The Aristo handles great now considering I have every suspension component offered in Japan. The only thing I would like to replace now are the coilovers.

alkattan,

The TOMS exhaust IMO are not as loud as the Sheepdog exhaust I had previously. But still noticeable. While under WOT.....does it matter?
Don't really know if it will fit the GS300/400/430 though.
