Default Chipped Door Pillars

Hi Again,

So I noticed when I bought my car, the black door pillars had some small chips in the paint (actually down to the metal on the edges), but I really couldn't complain for the priceI was paying for the car, as I thought this could easily be fixed.

Without having to buy the pillar covers on Ebay (I like the black look), is there a black paint I could use to touch them up?

Thanks!

I think bluelex painted his once. A lonnnng time ago he had chrome Lexus logos on the C pillar and took them off and resprayed them. Maybe he will chime in. I would go to a body shop and get it done right.

I have this problem too. From the previous owner of course. It's really starting to bug me now so I want to know a possible solution too.

you would think that Lexus would sell black touch up paint for those, since all GS have same black there.

Anyone know how much it is to just replace the pillars with OEM parts?

I agree. Maybe we should try calling one of the sponsors on this forums, like carlson or sewell...

I have the same problem with my car.
It is even showing some rust where the paint chipped off.

I did that for a while before taking them off and painting them. Now I wish I had the CF back
