Has any member on here bought the Weathertech Vinyl Trunk mat for their GS yet (supposedly custom fit)?
How do you like it and does it fit well? There is a hump in the middle of the GS Trunk area, that I wondered how this trunk tray would compensate for this hump.
I think this is a good investement in terms of preserving the new carpet look in the trunk and can capture spills and all kinds of junk in your trunk.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

The Top of a whole new bottle of Windshield cleaner came off in the Trunk of my GS430. I had to drive with the Windows open because the fumes were that bad even inside the car! Had to take out the Trunk Mat and cover for the tire and spend hours cleaning it. That Weathertec Trunk Mat would have come in handy!

Look at me sounding like a commercial.
However please notice the hump in the center area of the trunk. It looks like a try mat has to be 2 levels to accomodate.
Thanks for the comments!

I don't have the trunk mats but i have the interior mats. If you want to preserve your mats then it will work great . My oem mats are still brand new. I just laid the weather tech mats right on top .
My little cuz spilled a coke and the mats just held the coke in place so i could stop and place a towel up to clean it up. He was lucky cause i would have put a beat down on him . J/K
From the ads the trunk mat looks like it fits good . I didn't buy the trunk mat cause i hardly even use my trunk to carry stuff.

Hey 1niceride,
I just wanted to get clarification on the fit and finish of the Weathertech rubber floormats, they look like my best bet.
Some guys on the IS300.net board were complaining that the Weathertech mats cover the dead pedal as well as the trunk and gas release latches. Does this occur on the GS as well?
Also, how heavy duty are these mats actually?

By they way I did end up getting the Weathertech Trunk mat and it fits fine, but for those with NAVIGATION UNITS, it doesn't fit around the hump in the trunk where the NAV unit is based. It fits like more OVER IT.
