back from the dead.
I got a 2003 GS and I plan to install an aftermarket radio.
I have searched for a wiring harness and have been unsuccessful.
I would like to utilize the factory AMP and do not want to cut any wires.
I have read from this thread that there was success with utilizing the factory AMP with aftermarket radio.
Please help.
Thank you

Hi,
I'm about to add a new head unit to my car. I have stock stereo now (Non Nak). It also has the 6 disc changer in the glove box, but i dont want to use that anymore.
Does anyone have that PDF guide "Exsys2000" was talking about? I would help me out a lot since he was able to use the STOCK AMP like i want to.
Thanks!!!

2002 Lexus GS 300
hey everyone, any help would be much appreciated here, as i'm really struggling...
I have a 2002 Lexus GS 300. Here's my problem: I tried to be a maverick and install my own after-market radio unit into my car. Thought it would be easy, obviously it wasn't...I ended up cutting my factory wiring harness right before the two plastic plugs that go directly into the factory radio...I'll try to post some pictures, below...
So I need to get a working radio. I think my two options are to try to go back to the original harness and solder it back together, or try to make it work with the nice and I have...
The problem is that i cut the wires and I even ripped out the crimped metal pieces in the plastic head part...so basically all i need is like the original factory wiring harness (the plastic, crimped plug pieces that are male and go directly into the factory head unit). Ideally, they would have about 6 inches or more of wiring coming out of them, so I could easily solder/connect them to the existing wires that are just simply hanging out of my car's dash right now.
These two things are on the way to my house today for delivery, so it may increase my odds of actually getting something done in my car:
Thanks guys...
