Parking Sensors?
Has anybody purchased and installed aftermarket parking sensors for their GS? I saw some on ebay but I dont know how well the quality is. I love the way they look but I dont know if its worth it. Just wanted to get some input on this.

I used a kit that utilizes OEM look sensors on my wifes IS. They even come with a masking ring that allows the sensor to be painted body color.
The sensors fit flush on the bumper and the hook up was easy, just to the reverse lightbulb wire.
Mine beeps at faster rates and then goes solid at about 8 inches away. A visual display is also available with some sensors.
I purchased mine from a local dealer who sells to me at jobber pricing.
I don't know about the Ebay sensor since you haven't provided a link. It's Ok to post.
I'll be doing the GS as soon as I am ready to re-paint my body kit.

These look similar to what I got but none of them exactly. Item # 8022517093 was the closest to what I have.
You need to remove the rear bumper so you can select spots that have clearance for the sensor. You need to make sure it doesn't interfere with the metal bumper underneath and may need to trim out some of the foam insert.
Other than that , the wiring is pretty easy.
Let us know what you pick and how it works.

Mine came installed with a set that most german toyota/lexus-dealers seem to use. And ive got the 4 rear + 2 front system.
But mine didnt come painted....how do i do that...without interfering with the "sonar-function"?
