resurrecting this thread... my wife is driving the GS alot more now... so i am thinking about installing a set for her... would want both front and back...

any updated links to brands with success..

Wow, never thought about this before but the kits are ridiculously cheap, might have to give one a try. Just hide the "display" somewhere and use the audio only. Shouldn't be too hard to tap into the factory speakers for this.

i still haven't gotten around to doing this mod... i may give this set a chance... i like the slimmer display rather than a full blown LCD screen i will have no space to hide...

This is the one I got:

No display, just a nice speaker.

Install was super easy, took about two hours. It works really well. With the rear limo tint, backing into spaces at night was sometimes difficult. This made all the difference in the world.

this might be a better option... i doubt i would look at the lcd anyway and use the beeps instead... aren't most oem just beeps anyway if there isn't a navi screen without a camera???
